You understand your textbook. Native Japanese still feels far away.

This podcast is being designed for the space between the two—especially for learners around N4 who want to understand longer, faster, and more natural Japanese without making one impossible jump.

The same real story becomes a listening staircase.

Instead of changing only a few difficult words, each version will adjust grammar, sentence length, speed, connections, detail, and natural phrasing.

N5

Clear foundations

Short sentences, essential vocabulary, and an easy-to-follow pace.

N4

Connected beginner Japanese

More reasons, descriptions, and links between ideas.

N3

The bridge level

Longer thoughts and more natural phrasing without losing support.

N2

Natural detail and nuance

Richer expression, implication, and a more authentic conversational rhythm.

N1

The full natural voice

Subtle opinions, flexible phrasing, and the depth of the original story.

Not five random episodes. Five ways into the same story.

01

A real story

Junichiro starts from one experience, observation, or opinion—not a disconnected textbook dialogue.

02

Five level designs

Each version is rebuilt around what learners at that stage can follow and learn from.

03

Listen upward

Start where you feel comfortable, then hear how the same meaning grows more natural.

04

Notice the difference

Compare vocabulary, grammar, rhythm, and nuance instead of memorizing in isolation.

More than something to play in the background.

The series is being planned as a reusable listening resource. Final formats and access details will be announced when the project is ready.

Level-based audio

Listen at a comfortable level, then challenge yourself with the next version.

Transcripts

Follow the story in writing and check what you heard after listening.

Vocabulary and expressions

Review useful language from the story in context rather than as an isolated list.

Level comparisons

See exactly how one idea changes as the Japanese becomes more detailed and natural.

Release date, listening platforms, schedule, pricing, and membership details have not been announced.

What is decided—and what is not.

Who is this podcast for?

It is being designed especially for learners who have built a beginner foundation—often around N4—but still find ordinary native Japanese too difficult. Because each story is planned across five levels, learners can enter at the version that suits them.

Will every level tell the same story?

That is the central idea. The details and expression will grow with the level, while the core story remains recognizable so you can compare how Japanese changes.

When will the podcast launch?

The launch date has not been decided. This page will be updated when the first episodes and listening information are ready.

Where will I be able to listen?

Listening platforms have not been announced yet. Confirmed links will appear here before launch; there are no inactive or placeholder subscription links.

Will it be free or paid?

Pricing and access details have not been finalized. The aim is to provide a useful way to experience the concept before asking learners to choose any paid option.
