If you are aged 16 or 17, first send a preliminary inquiry through the official website form using your own personal email. The receipt contains a private link where you enter a different parent or legal guardian email address. The guardian then receives the policies and a private agree-or-decline page. After receiving the student's age, country and general region of residence, I may also check whether additional guardian involvement is required before booking or payment. Please do not send an exact home address during the initial inquiry.

About Me
From the age of 19, I spent four years in Tokyo studying acting. During that time, I also began posting on TikTok and received support from people around the world, which eventually inspired me to become a Japanese tutor. Since beginning this work in early 2025, I have had the pleasure of teaching students from many different parts of the world.

Teaching Approach
Learn Japanese in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, like talking with a friend. We bring your interests into the lesson, from your first Japanese words to advanced conversation. When you need time to answer or understand something, I wait and we work through it together.
Each week, I prepare the lesson around your interests, areas of difficulty, and previous mistakes, referring to our lesson transcript. We practise together, ask questions, and revisit anything that needs more time.
Starting from zero? We write hiragana together and explore ways to remember it, then move on to katakana and grammar. Intermediate and advanced lessons can focus on responding more readily, expanding vocabulary, and expressing nuances naturally. I prepare original materials for each student and do not use commercially published textbooks at any stage.
Your interests become part of the lesson. Alongside grammar and vocabulary, we explore the topics you enjoy and how Japanese is used in real conversations, including differences in tone, context, and culture.
Each week, I email a personal review PDF with the finished lesson sheets, review questions, points you found difficult, and useful topics that came up outside the planned material. I refer to our lesson transcript when preparing it.

In my lessons, I have seen a learner who started close to zero progress to following the gist of Japanese videos and livestreams, writing comments in Japanese, and responding in conversation with time to think. With advanced learners, I have also seen growth in response speed and vocabulary. These are individual examples; progress varies.
Lessons are held online via Google Meet. Plans are prepaid monthly and begin with a minimum of one lesson per week. A personalized weekly review PDF is included, while homework remains optional. If you are unsure about your level, schedule, or goals, you can ask before booking.

Simple Booking Process
Use the official website form, and I will reply personally after the availability and eligibility review. Students aged 16 or 17 complete a separate guardian-confirmation step first. Lessons begin with a minimum of one month. You are welcome to include questions about your goals, level, and schedule in your inquiry.
Tell me your age group, level, goal, time zone, preferred plan, and 2–3 possible recurring weekday lesson times through the website form. Before sending, agree to the Lesson & Privacy Policy and consent to Notion AI Meeting Notes.
I will check eligibility and availability. For a student aged 16 or 17, the student receipt contains a private link to enter the guardian email; the guardian then receives the policies and a private decision page.
After the review, I will present the schedule, plan, fees, and proposed start date, followed by payment details. Policy and Notion AI consent are recorded with your inquiry; renewed consent is needed if the relevant version changes. Required guardian review still applies.
You will receive the Google Meet details by email or our agreed contact channel. Instagram is usually the easiest way to keep in casual contact between lessons.
We start by writing hiragana together and learning ways to remember it, then progress to katakana and grammar at your pace. Your original materials are adjusted each week; there is no fixed timetable for finishing the beginner foundations.
